These Terms & Conditions govern your use of UnitedCityYachts.com and YachtNetwork.com (the “Site”) and your participation in the text messaging program operated by Yacht Network LP and United City Yachts (together “Yacht Network,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or our text messaging program, you agree to these terms.

SMS Terms of Service

Program description. Yacht Network sends text messages to people who have contacted us about buying or selling a boat. Messages are conversational and are sent by our brokers, or by our automated assistant on their behalf. They may include answers to your questions about a listing (price, specifications, condition, availability), links and photos for that listing, scheduling for viewings and sea trials, and follow-up on your inquiry. We do not send unsolicited marketing texts.

How you join. You opt in by giving us your own mobile number on an inquiry or contact form on the Site and asking a Yacht Network broker to contact you, or by texting one of our published numbers directly. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. We do not buy, rent or accept phone numbers from third parties.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Yacht Network does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts from that number. You can rejoin at any time by replying START or by contacting us again.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, call 1-833-829-2248, or email info@yachtnetwork.com.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS and others.

Privacy. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle your information.

Use of the Site

Boat listings, specifications, pricing and availability shown on the Site are provided for general information and are believed to be accurate but are not guaranteed. Listings are subject to prior sale, price change, or withdrawal without notice. Nothing on the Site is an offer, a survey, or a substitute for your own inspection and professional advice.

We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time, and changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site or our text messaging program means you accept the current terms.

Use of this Site is governed by the applicable laws of the provinces and territories of Canada, the federal laws of Canada, and, where applicable, the laws of the United States and its individual states.

Subsequently we opened an office in Kingston and broker coverage on Georgian Bay and in 2016 we began serving the Vancouver area. Most recently we entered the Montreal, Vancouver Island, Kelowna, Lake Simcoe, Southwestern Ontario and Ottawa yacht market. We have really focused on establishing the best geographic catchment for both yacht sellers and buyers. We know the boat markets across Canada and most importantly we have the connections for buying and selling yachts not just from one location but from many locations. Our yacht brokerage often moves sold boats across the country and also to all points US and Caribbean connecting happy clients with the boat of their dreams. While most brokers focus on listed inventory in their own backyards, we focus on making yacht purchase connections with buyers and sellers across the country and beyond offering our purchasing clients more selection and listings not limited to one geographic area. For sellers it means bringing you more prospects, not just from one city but from across the country. As United City Yachts continues to expand and grow, we invite you to work with us and see the difference we can make to your yacht purchase or sale using our multi-channel approach to marketing yachts. A few years back we started an International Large Yacht Division and in 2016 we began serving the Vancouver area. Most recently we entered the Montreal yacht market.
