Living Legend!
A sharp and aggressive look makes these very attractive vessels. Naval Architect and SAILING Magazine’s Technical Editor Robert Perry noted in his review in 1986 that the 37 has the appearance of a high-performance boat, with a nod to Swan for introducing yachts with lowered coachroofs that seamlessly blend into the foredeck.
Hunter built the Legend 37 with a solid-fiberglass hull, a balsa-cored deck, and molded interior liners that also incorporated structural components. A beefy transverse stiffener divides the main-saloon sole, and stringers run longitudinally on each side of the keel in the boat’s midsection to keep her stiff.
With more interior volume than most boats of her size, she makes a legendary cruiser! Roomy and comfortable are the key words belowdecks. The U-shaped galley with a two-basin stainless steel sink, top-loading refrigerator, adequate storage, counter space and lots of small drawers. She is designed with a large aft cabin and double walk through that owners rave about saying “It’s like a real bed instead of having to climb over somebody,â€
Shallow draft, diesel Yanmar, autohelm, a massive aft cabin, and plenty of updates. She is in excellent condition and shows very well. Lovingly maintained.
